Rainbows
Rainbows comprises of our Nursery and Reception classes.
Rainbows provides a welcoming and caring environment that gives an excellent introduction to school life. Children play and learn in small groups. Activities are carefully planned around your child's age and ability, with emphasis on building social skills and play-based learning.
Language, literacy and mathematical activities are built into the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and are an integral part of all learning alongside personal, social and emotional development and physical development. Activities such as singing, story-telling, craft and outdoor learning help to reinforce development in these skills and increases every child's understanding of the world around them.
Teachers carefully plan activities around your child’s age and ability. They are very happy to discuss your child's progress with you at any time in addition to the termly Parent Consultation evenings. Your child will also have a designated key person who works with them throughout the day and liaises with parents.
