Art in the Community 

In collaboration with Epsom Arts Society, we are displaying work from Epsom Downs Community School at Tattenham Corner Train Station. 

We have chosen to display the Year 2 art work, based on the work of Paul Klee 

They used the idea of Klee’s piece ‘Castle and Sun’ to inspire them. They used 2D shapes to create the castles and sun then used water colours for the background and poster paints for the castles. The children learnt how to mix colours for their pieces of art work.  

We hope you enjoy looking at the pieces as much as the children enjoyed creating them.
